Me & Mats - About the Brand
At Oli Olsen we love all of our brands equally, but we realised that maybe not everyone knows the back story of them. So, we're here to help! First up the amazing Amsterdam based Me & Mats and their incredible products.
Me & Mats are the most positive people around, but it didn't always start that way. The founder Astrid (picture above) lost her son at a very early age. Although this was an incredibly tough time she persisted and realised that she wanted to fill the world with happiness, guts and glory - in memory of Mats.
Their small team in Amsterdam are the most positive people you will ever meet. They may not be able to give you Clooney or Pitt but beautiful Belgian Chocolate will certainly help.
Their collection started with their signature wrapped candles which are all natural based wax that are hand wrapped by people living with disabilities. From there it's grown from strength to strength and now have a range of candles, (tins, boxed and jars) Belgian Chocolate, handsoap, room diffusers, matches and greeting cards. Representing true craftsmanship, sourced with a passion for quality from small family owned factories across Europe. Vegan, fair trade, paraben free, sulphate free.

Me & Mats are a brand based in Amsterdam and they create beautiful products to inspire everyone to love every moment in life. They want to celebrate the little things and share the love with everyone!
In this day and age we all need a little pick me up, just knowing someone is there and that they think you are awesome is an amazing feeling! With this in mind the team at Me & Mats have created a BRAND NEW range - the Fun Collection.
With the success of the same named candle collection the team thought they could double their love with the delicious taste of chocolate. Each bar is 100g of 100% Belgian chocolate and is lovely gift wrapped with sentiments on the front. The colours are fun summery ad compliment each other perfectly. Each bar is £5.95 and at 11cm it's the perfect pocket sized gift.
