Balvi’s brilliant sushi roll cushion and blanket is a soft plush throw that rolls up into a maki roll. The outer layer is white with scattered black flecks like grains of rice, wrapped in a broad black band that reads as nori. At the open end, the spiral fillings are visible in green and orange. The plush, fluffy-textured fabric is made for sofa evenings and bedroom lounging. Rolled up, it works as a quirky cushion and display piece; unrolled, it becomes a snug blanket for one.
